Site advises that parking was limited but does not say that you have to call the hotel directly to ensure a space. I requested parking when booking, but was advised on arrival that there was no space so would have to use ncp 200 yards away.

I was between buses and had been traveling without a bank card. It had been a long day, and it was wonderful to come into that welcoming room after an all day journey and have a cup of tea. The staff were accomodating and polite, the breakfast was great. It all felt comfortable and easy.
